Actually the 1691 Virginia law prohibiting WHITE - NATIVE AMERICAN marriage was amended in 1705 to make that inter race marriage legal. Different forms of inter race marriages have been banned in some place or another in different parts of the U.S. in it’s colonial history, but that’s mostly due to social and cultural beliefs and laws. Not since the U.S. Constitution and U.S. government was established has there ever been a federal law banning inter race marriages.
So when you’re talking about the first occurrence of an anti-interracial marriage law in the USA, you’re technically right.
But I don’t think you’re right in the way you want people to believe.
